Practice · Trading simulator
Practise trading on simulated prices.
Open and manage trades with a virtual account on six major pairs. Before every order you see the risk in dollars and as a share of the account, the margin it needs and the risk-to-reward. Nothing here touches real money.
Educational simulation only. Prices are generated on your device by a random process. They are not live, delayed or historical quotes, and they cannot show how any market will move. The virtual balance has no cash value. Nothing here is financial advice or a trade signal. Real trading carries risk, and leveraged losses can be fast and large. Read the risk disclaimer.

How it works
A practice loop, not a prediction.
Each session is a fresh set of simulated bars for six pairs. Plan the trade, check what it risks, then let the bars play out and review what happened.
- 1
Pick a pair and side
Buys fill at the ask and close at the bid. Sells do the opposite, so every trade starts slightly negative by the spread.
- 2
Set the stop first
Choose where the idea is wrong, in pips. Then use “Size by risk” to pick a lot size that keeps the loss at that stop to a set share of the balance.
- 3
Check the numbers
The ticket shows pip value, margin, risk in dollars and percent, and risk : reward. Warnings appear when risk is large or no stop is set.
- 4
Play, then review
Step bar by bar or press play. Stops and targets are checked on every bar. End the session to see win rate, average R and maximum drawdown.
The maths used
Pip value for pairs quoted in US dollars (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, AUD/USD) is 0.0001 × 100,000 = $10 per standard lot. For pairs with USD first (USD/JPY, USD/CAD, USD/CHF) the quote-currency pip value is converted at the current rate, for example 0.01 × 100,000 ÷ 150.00 = $6.67 per lot on USD/JPY. Margin is the position's value in dollars divided by leverage. R is the result divided by the amount at risk at the original stop.
0.50 lots EUR/USD, 20-pip stop: 20 × $5 = $100 at risk
What it leaves out
No commissions, swaps or financing, and no slippage beyond price gaps. The spread is fixed. Stops and targets are checked against each bar's high and low; if a bar touches both, the stop is assumed to fill first. A stop-out closes the largest loser when the margin level falls below 50% at a bar close. Bars are fictional 15-minute periods with no dates. Real markets and real brokers behave differently.
